Biography

Approaching music since she was a child, she started study singing at the age of 9 in the choir of children's voices of the Fiesole Music School directed by Joan Yakkey and she studied classical piano with the teacher Dorina Nencetti for about 7 years. With the Coro delle Voci Bianche of the Fiesole Music School she performs in numerous reviews and concerts, such as the musical work Volevo un Foglio directed by Zubin Metha at the Goldoni Theater in 2004, the Internationales Kinderchorfestival Dresden in Dresden in 2006 and other concerts also directed by Zubin Metha for the Opera, Concerti, Balletti season of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale. She also performs as a solo soprano at the Cathedral of Pisa (2007) and with the quartet of Giovani Madrigalisti of Fiesole Music School in a series of concerts from 2005 to 2007.

Returning to Florence in 2014, she deepens her study of singing with Titta Nesti, while taking part in the jazz piano and ensemble music courses held at the CAM by Massimiliano Calderai, Alessandro di Puccio and Stefano Rapicavoli. With the pianist, composer and arranger Leonardo Pieri she undertook an intensive study of jazz harmony and composition for about two years, from 2017 to 2019. In 2019 she graduated with 110 cum laude in Jazz Composition and Arrangement at the Cherubini Conservatory of Florence with the professors Riccardo Fassi, Raffaello Pareti, Stefano Zenni, Ruben Chaviano. In 2021 she begins the Master in Artistic Vocology at the University of Bologna in Ravenna.

 

Since 2014 she has been active both as a modern and jazz singing teacher and as a singer and composer, performing in various ensembles, such as the swing music septet of Lezuing, the swing trio of Talking Ties and the Brazilian music Trio Carinhoso, participating in reviews music such as Agri Jazz Festival in Bologna in 2014, Moving and Groovin in Florence in 2018, Jazz Clandestino in Arezzo in 2018 and Swing Di ... Pendente in Pisa where she performed with saxophonist Mauro Porro in 2018. With her main project of the Quiet Quartet, in which she is a singer and composer, she performed in important concerts such as the Flower Jazz at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence in 2018, Jazz Prime review in Sala Vanni in Florence in 2019, September in Piazza della Passera again in Florence in 2019 and the Friday Jazz Night at the Osteria Margutta in Rome in 2020. On 15 July 2021 Quiet Quartet perform as finalists of the Mediterranean Contest organized for the JazzAlguer Review in Alghero, on 8 September they participate in the Jammin'2021 review organized by the Saint Louis College Of Music at the Terrazza del Gianicolo in Rome.
